Creative ideas…
that have blessed our ministry greatly. While we were back in the states, we were invited to the Morlan’s house for a 5-course mexican dinner. This family invites people into their home (groups, families, & couples) and prepares a wonderful meal for them to enjoy. Whatever is given to the Morlan’s for their scrumptious meal is then passed along to us. We all know the time and effort that goes into pulling together a meal, let alone a 5-course meal!!
Our 5-course meal consisted of:
- mexican beef stew
- beef and cheese quesdillas
- chicken taquitos
- fish tacos
- mexican chocolate milkshake
This was a very enjoyable night for our family, and we continually feel blessed to have so many people support our work in South Africa.
Thank you Andy, Darlene, and Tyler for inviting us into your home and spoiling us with awesome service, and amazing food. If anyone is interested in doing dinner at the Morlan’s house, you can contact them directly to schedule a date, I promise you – you won’t regret it.

We also had 3 kiddos from our home church – Forest, Willow and Asher throw a joint birthday party (all 3 celebrate June birthdays) and request that in lieu of gifts, people could donate to us!!

These 3 kids raised $175.00!! I thought back to when I was that age, and I have to be honest, it would have been hard for me to forgo birthday presents for someone else’s benefit. At a very young age, these kids understand the true meaning of giving and selflessness. How blessed they are, and so they wanted to be a blessing to others.
Thank you Forest, Willow and Asher!!
Even though we are on the ground, and are constantly aware of the needs of people around us, we would never be able to meet the needs of the people that we minister to without your prayers, monthly partnerships, and other financial gifts.
Love you guys!!
